About Stephanie Kelley

I’ve been working on stage since the age of five and on film since the age of 15 ,am a member of SAG/AFTRA, and AEA and live in LA. I was born in Carmichael, California (a small town outside of Sacramento).  From there I moved to Richmond, VA.  At the age of four I moved again and found myself in what I called “home”- Raleigh, NC.

I attended magnet elementary, middle, and high schools and was lucky enough to know that acting was my dream from the first time I stepped on stage as ‘The Acrobat’ in my kindergarten production of ‘The Circus’.

During my sophomore year of high school I went to Florida and was cast in a PSA for Disney World.  My passion for film & television began!  I graduated early from my senior year at W.G. Enloe High School, after petitioning teachers, the principal, and the school board, in order to move to Manteo, NC and perform in the outdoor drama, “The Lost Colony”.  From there I stayed around the beach for a while and worked at Waterside Theatre, playing Hermia in “A Midummer Night’s Dream” and working with the NC Shakespeare Festival in “The Merry Wives of Windsor”.

Shortly thereafter I moved to Richmond, VA and was successful as a stage & screen actress- acting in over 15 plays, dozens of industrials and regional commercials, tv, studio & indie films, and even 4 national commercial spots as a principal!

In 2007 I graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University with an Interdisciplinary Degree focusing on Art Production & Sociology and a certificate in Nonprofit Management. I moved to Washington, DC, worked in film/television, and was a member of the 2008 ‘Nat Pack’ squad for the Washington Nationals. In the fall of 2008 I went to Maryland and performed the role of Belle in a regional production of “A Christmas Carol” and in December  I moved to New York.

Throughout my 7 years in NY I performed in my readings & shows, including a world premiere at the Clurman Theatre.  In September 2015 I finally made it to the shores of the left coast and call LA my home.  I am currently coaching with John Rosenfeld Studios and exploring the west coast!

I enjoy producing and production management.  On the side I work as a freelance Financial Manager/Consulting CFO & Controller

I also enjoys riding motorcycles & wearing sundresses :)
